Workshop In Clay - Spooky Sculpting Edition
Join us for a Halloween-themed air dry clay workshop!
We’ll be crafting haunted mansion candle holders - a spooky house where the candlelight glows through the windows.
You will be shown various techniques and guided through each step, from forming your mansion to adding textures and decorative touches. We’ll also explore how you can continue working with air dry clay at home - perfect for personal projects or thoughtful handmade gifts.
All materials provided.
Facilitator: Liza (they/them) is a Leeds-based artist and part of the new crew here at The Bookish Type. While Liza primarily works with clay, they love experimenting with a variety of mediums. They’re a strong believer in the healing power of hands-on creativity, and that art is a beautiful way to connect with ourselves and the world around us.

Please be honest about your financial situation when selecting what to pay for your ticket. If you purchase a ticket at the lowest end of the scale when you could afford the higher ticket prices, it makes it harder for us to provide financial flexibility to those who most need it.

Access Info
The shop has an 8cm step but we have a ramp we can put in place if required.
There is a downstairs bathroom with toilet and hand basin.
There is a range of seating including chairs that are armless with padded seats and backs, armless sofa, bench with cushions.
Face masks are encouraged but not required; an H13 HEPA air purifier will be in use.
On street parking available (charges may apply).
