Inherent Vice No.1: Queer History is Everyone's History

No.1 includes a range of articles on LGBTQIA+ history and heritage projects from across the UK and Ireland.

The issue includes an opening piece from guest author Justin Bengry - queer historian, public speaker, and writer. He was Director of the Goldsmiths Centre for Queer History at the University of London where he led the world’s first MA in Queer History from 2017 to 2024.

The issue also takes its name from Justin’s words “queer history is everyone’s history”  a reminder that queerness is not something separate or other, but something woven throughout the fabric of human existence.
